Merry Christmas 2025
I’m so tired but wired. We worked relentlessly all day, with the last workman leaving around 3:30. We then set about getting the place clean and livable. Roast is brining and Whole Foods catering sides in my fab new kitchen. We managed to get the pampas Christmas tree assembled, lit and will add more ornaments as the day goes on. We keep it up until Twelfth night, so it’s worth the trouble. I’m feeling so good about getting the tv set up so we could watch Charlie Brown as some sort of observance of the reason we are rushing around so hard. There are presents under the tree. Finally my Chancellor’s list student (Mmhm.❤️💙❤️) can relax at his new gaming desk and I can enjoy a lot less stuff to put away (we have staged the condo and stored what we are moving to the Bay), a great new walk in closet, comfy rugs and kitchen. Now I will watch a movie and finally get a little sleep before all the fun starts. Pray I can figure out how my new oven works!
